Beijing News On October 13, the “2019 Leisure Pinggu Enjoy the Future International Half Marathon” shot at the Pinggu Jinhai Lake.This competition is hosted by the Pinggu District Sports Bureau, undertaken by Beijing Asian Medieval Sports Development Co., Ltd., and executed by Beijing Sanfu Outdoor Sports Management Co., Ltd.Wang Chengguo, Secretary of the Pinggu District Committee, and Lu Hongze, deputy director of the Beijing Sports Bureau, attended the opening ceremony.This is the second marathon held in Pinggu District. The competition attracted 5,000 runners who participated in the half marathon group, the 5km experience group and the 5km parent-child group.The event also attracted 32 foreign high-level players from 13 countries including Ethiopia, Ireland, Australia, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, the Philippines, the Netherlands, Canada, Kenya, the United States, Singapore, and Italy.According to reports, it only took 7 days from the opening of the registration for this competition, and 5,000 entries were sold out.In the end, the men’s team’s first place in this competition was won by Chinese player Feng Gang with a score of 1 hour, 10 minutes and 56 seconds. The women’s team’s first place was won by Chinese player Niu Lihua with a score of 1 hour, 17 minutes and 47 seconds.
